Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 9, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use All TV Remote (the “App”). In this Policy, “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the provider of the App.
1. Summary
The App works as a remote control for compatible devices on your local network. It uses a stable device identifier, limited device and app information, usage and purchase events, and—if you allow it—advertising and attribution identifiers. It also uses local-network, microphone, and speech-recognition permissions only to provide the related features.
We do not ask you to create an App account. If you contact support, the information you choose to include in your email is handled to respond to you.
2. Information We Collect
A. Device, app, and network information
We collect or generate the following information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the App and its services:
- a randomly generated device identifier (CUID), which is stored in iOS Keychain and is designed to remain available across app launches, updates, and reinstallations on the same device, subject to iOS and device-account behavior;
- device model, operating-system version, app version, bundle identifier, language, region, time zone, and network type;
- an iOS vendor identifier (IDFV) and service identifiers generated by our analytics and attribution providers; and
- local-network information needed to discover and connect to compatible televisions or streaming devices, such as device name, device type/brand, and local network address or connection state.
B. Advertising and attribution information
If you allow tracking through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency prompt, the App may access the advertising identifier (IDFA). The App also receives or stores campaign, referral, deep-link, and conversion information from AppsFlyer and may process an anonymous identifier from Meta/Facebook and identifiers from Firebase.
We use this information to measure installs and marketing performance, understand which campaigns lead to App use or purchases, prevent fraud, and select or evaluate product offers. You can decline or later change tracking permission in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking on your iOS device. Declining tracking does not prevent you from using the App, but some measurement may be less precise.
C. Usage and diagnostic information
We and our service providers may collect events such as App launches, onboarding completion, permission-prompt interaction, screen and paywall views, selected product information, remote-control feature use, TV connection success, and purchase success or failure. We use these events for analytics, service operation, troubleshooting, fraud prevention, and product improvement.
D. Purchases and subscriptions
When you start, restore, or complete a purchase, the App processes product identifiers, order or transaction identifiers, original transaction identifiers, signed StoreKit transaction data, and purchase-validation status. Apple processes your payment method; we do not receive your full payment-card number.
We use purchase information to validate transactions, provide or restore paid access, prevent fraud, and meet accounting or legal obligations.
E. Local remote-control content
When you use the App to control a television or streaming device, the selected device may receive the commands, keyboard text, app-launch requests, or other input that you choose to send. This information is used to deliver the remote-control feature and is generally communicated directly over your local network to the device you select.
F. Voice input
If you choose to use voice input, the App requests microphone and speech-recognition permissions. Audio is captured while you actively record, and speech recognition produces text that you can send to the selected compatible device. Apple’s speech-recognition services may process audio or speech data under Apple’s own terms and privacy policy. For compatible remote-control features, audio or the resulting text may also be transmitted to the television or streaming device you selected over your local network.
We do not use microphone access to record in the background. The App does not intentionally retain voice recordings after the active voice-input session, but third-party device and speech-recognition providers may handle information under their own policies.
G. Support communications
If you use the in-App Contact Us feature, your email application prepares a message to our support address. The message may include the topic you select, your email address, the text you write, the App version, CUID, device model, operating-system version, and support state. We use this information to investigate and respond to your request.
3. How We Share Information
We share information only as needed to operate the App and for the purposes described above, including with:
- Apple, for App Store distribution, StoreKit purchases, system permissions, and speech recognition when used;
- AppsFlyer, for attribution and campaign measurement;
- Google Firebase, including Analytics and Installations, for app analytics and app-instance or installation measurement;
- Meta/Facebook, for app-event measurement and attribution;
- our service providers that host or operate the App’s subscription, entitlement, validation, attribution, analytics, and support services; and
- compatible televisions, streaming devices, and their networks when you instruct the App to discover, pair with, or control them.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the rights, safety, or security of users or others, to prevent fraud, or in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information for money. Depending on your jurisdiction and the permissions you grant, disclosures to analytics or attribution providers may be treated as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under some privacy laws. You can limit this activity through the iOS Tracking controls described above.
4. Permissions and Your Choices
You can control many data practices directly in iOS Settings:
- Local Network: required to discover and control compatible devices on your Wi-Fi or local network.
- Microphone and Speech Recognition: required only for voice input.
- Tracking: controls access to the IDFA and tracking across apps and websites owned by other companies.
You can also manage subscriptions through your Apple Account subscription settings. To request access, correction, or deletion of personal information held by our services, or to ask a privacy question, email smarttvremote@yeah.net. Include enough information for us to identify the relevant device or request. We may need to verify your request and may retain information where required or permitted by law.
5. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App and services, maintain security, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Retention periods vary by data type:
- local preferences and device identifiers remain on your device until you remove them, reset the device, or iOS removes them; the CUID may persist in Keychain across reinstallations;
- purchase and transaction records may be retained for the period required for accounting, fraud prevention, legal, or contractual purposes;
- support communications are retained for as long as needed to resolve the request and maintain support records; and
- analytics and attribution data are retained according to our providers’ configured retention settings and applicable law.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. International Transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. When required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
8. Children’s Privacy
The App is not directed to children under the age at which parental consent is required under applicable law, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from such children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us at smarttvremote@yeah.net so that we can review the request.
9. Third-Party Services
This Privacy Policy does not govern third-party services, televisions, streaming devices, content providers, or websites that you use with the App. Their data practices are governed by their own policies. We encourage you to review the policies of Apple, AppsFlyer, Google/Firebase, Meta/Facebook, and the manufacturer or service provider for any device you connect.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date identifies the latest version. If changes are material, we will provide notice as required by law.
